Currently based in Ibiza and resident at Sunset Asham throughout the season for the past two years, Gustin began dj’ing in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland, playing inner city house parties and illegal after hours clubs in the mid 90’s. Soon after he relocated to London, where he became immersed in the UK house scene that was exploding in the mid-90s.
Following this he again relocated, to Amsterdam, just after the millennium where he caught the ear of the Jayhwalk crew. This resulted in an excellent high-profile residency which saw him play alongside the likes of industry stalwarts such as Matthew Dekay, Halo & Hippee and Francesco Pico.
Amsterdam’s scene was enriched further by Gustin ́s own promotion, a weekly event named ‘House of Progress’ (HoP) which gave him the opportunity to play regular seven hour solo sets, as well as attracting appearances from international names such as Steve Porter and Austin Leeds.
Gustin relocated back to the London in 2006 but continued regular guest appearances at Floorplay, Club NL in Amsterdam alongside rising star producer, dj and promotor Paul Sparkes, and the likes of Danny Howells, 16 Bit Lolitas and more. He also began a residency at Pacha London and became a regular fixture at Secret Garden Party Festival.
In 2015 Gustin once again relocated, this time to Ibiza where he now resides year round and has held a weekly season residency at Sunset Ashram, one of Ibiza’s last true free beach party venues, alongside Dimitri Nakov, for the past two seasons plus recent guests appearances at The Soundgarden Ibiza with Nick Warren and Elements alongside Bushwacka! Gustin also presents a monthy two hour radio show on bloop. , London’s premier undergroung elecronic music station.
For those who have not experienced Gustin at work, quite simply he has the infectious ability to make a dance floor move from the bottom up with his unique blend of lush, pumping, techprog, funk-fuelled house music.
